The WFO in conjunction with Giesserei-Verlag produce a quarterly foundry research journal.
The International Foundry Research Journal is produced by the WFO and BDG, Germany to provide a route of dissemination of research in the whole field of metal
casting. The journal reports advances in both materials and production engineering, also the fundemental science contributing
to the successful manufacture of fit for purpose castings, including modelling and environmental issues.
The Journal
has a distinguished international editorial board including Professor Andreas Buhrig Polaczek, Professor Keisaku Ogi, Professor
Wolfgang Schneider, Professor Peter Schumacher, Professor Jozef Suchy, Professor Werner Tilch, Eur Ing Andrew Turner and Dr-Ing
Gotthard Wolf.
