theme of the 2010 World Foundry Congress, to be held between 16th - 19th October 2010, is Green
Foundry. Our world is facing the pressures of energy, resources and environment. Therefore, to explore new casting technologies
and methods for energy conservation and environmental protection is, indeed, a crucial problem that needs to be solved for
the sake of harmonious and sustainable development between human society and the nature. Hangzhou
is a dynamic city as well as an international tourist city. It has earned a reputation by Italian renowned traveller Marko
Polo, as 'the most beautiful and magnificent city in the world'. Hangzhou is a 2200-year old, famous cultural and
historic city. It was one of the seven ancient capitals of China. Rongde Li, Chairman of the organizing
committee and President of FICMES on behalf of the Chinese foundry comunity invites you to submit papers for the congress
